      • Waiting for a star to fall

        Today was the day. In Portland, an open casting call for NBC's Nashville Star. It's country music (and NBC's) answer to American Idol, and yours truly auditioned today along with about 600 other hopefuls.

        It was really an experience, though I know everyone says that.

        I feel, for the most part, that my weenie factor is relatively low. I am not afraid of needles, I love spiders and snakes and have a pretty high pain tolerance. I mean, sure, I couldn't win an Iron Man competition, but I have a bit of a reputation of being a go, go go until you drop kinda gal.
