Now if the conversion creates files in excess of 999 this will pose a small but fixable problem. Most portable units assume progressive numbering not numeric, 100 and 1000 read the same as 1 and 2. Therefore anyting over 1000 gets mixed into the numeric order creating a book that is all out of order. To prevent this there are 2 methods. The easiest is to create a new folder for every 999 files. It is rare that a book is over 1999 so 1 to 2 folders takes care of most books for the creative zen sized screen.

if you must have the files in one folder no matter what, there is a Bulk Renaming Utility in the download area that can convert the files so they can be put in the same folder.
